Is The BUILD Room really free?
Yes. Joining The BUILD Room is free and there is no paid tier. If you decide to get licensed later, there are real state costs, and we show them to you up front. See the cost box above.
Is it an MLM?
No. It's not an MLM. Agents are licensed by their state and paid commission only on real insurance sold to real clients. Nobody is paid just for signing someone up. Leaders can earn overrides when the agents they train actually help clients, and that's all disclosed. It's an independent contractor opportunity with no guaranteed income, and results vary.
Is this a job?
No. It's an independent contractor opportunity, not employment. You run your own business with training and systems behind you. Commission only, no salary.
How much can I make?
We won't throw a number at you. Anyone who does is selling you something. What you earn depends on your activity, your skill, and your consistency. Income is not guaranteed and results vary.
What's the difference between the free community and full access?
The free community gives you teaser trainings, industry material, and the community. Full access is for IRONCLAD agents. Once you sign your ICA and get the Licensing Guide, you unlock the full new agent resources and the New Agent Licensing Chat.
Do I need experience or a license to join?
No. Anyone 18 or older can join The BUILD Room and learn for free. You only need a state insurance license if you decide to sell insurance, and we will show you the path when you are ready.
Why do you verify my email and phone?
So the room stays real people only. You get a short code by email and one by text, and your Discord invite unlocks once both check out. IRONCLAD Agency may contact you by email, phone call, and text about the community and the opportunity. Staff will never DM you asking for money.
What does it cost to get licensed?
Xcel pre-licensing is covered through our agency discount. You pay your state exam fee, fingerprints or background check, your state license fee if your state charges one, and E&O coverage. How long does licensing take?
It depends on your state and how much time you put in. The Licensing Guide walks you through every step in order. With daily study, 7 to 10 days is a typical goal. It varies by state and by person. That's a goal, not a guarantee.

I'm already licensed. Is this for me?

Can I keep my current job?
Yes. Plenty of people start while they keep their job. You decide if and when anything changes. Check any outside work rules your employer has.
I've never used Discord. Is it hard?
No. It's a free app and it also works right in your browser. After you join we show you exactly where to click. One more thing. Staff will never DM you asking for money.
